NEET 2017 application form: TEST AND ENTRANCE TEST

NEET is an entrance test for all students who wish to study any undergraduate medical course MBBS OR BDS and others. Also, NEET is now the only Exam and for who to come in this field.NEET is an exam for both governments as well as private colleges conducted by CBSE.

NEET UG replaces AIPMT and all other exam conducted by state or colleges individually.

ELIGIBILITY FOR NEET: – For applying in NEET (NEET 2017 application form)

There is an upper and lower limit. Candidates must have completed 17 years on 31 Dec 2017. And the upper limit is 25 year on 31 Dec 2017.

And there is a relaxation of 5 years for sc/ st /other backward categories. Candidates must have passed the 12th examination with the minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry, biology, and English.

There is also a relaxation of 10% for SC/ST/OBC and SC quota. These seats further divided into the reserved and general category:

All the candidates who have filled up application form with IDs other than Aadhaar Card i.e.

Passport number, Ration Card Number, Bank Account Number, Aadhaar Enrolment Number and Registration number issued by Facilitation Centre will be able to add their Aadhaar Number or the Aadhaar Enrolment Number in the Online Application Form

The candidates who have already filled up the application form with Aadhaar Card. And, the candidates with nationality as Foreign, OCI. PIO and NRI.

Date Of Birth (DoB)

These candidates cannot change their date of birth as their details have been validated by Aadhaar.

Gender

State Code of Eligibility

A) The candidates belonging to, the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir may also change the status of Self Declaration submitted by them.

B) The candidates belonging to the states of Assam.

Or Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir will be able to change their state code of eligibility (to a state other than these 03 states). Only if they have obtained their Aadhaar Number or Aadhaar Enrolment Number.

As the exemption from Aadhaar is available only to the candidates of Assam. Meghalaya and Jammu & Kashmir.

C)The candidates may note that the rules which are state specific like Permissible Identity Types, Self Declaration, Medium of Question Paper and Choice of Centres, etc. will be applicable by changing the State of Eligibility.

And the candidate will have to fill up information in the affected fields afresh very carefully.

Furthermore, the candidates are advised to go through the Information Bulletin once again to have a clear understanding of the concerned rules

All candidates can make a correction. However, wherever change in category involves a higher fee, the candidates will pay the difference of the fee also.

Payment of fee will be an online process and the change will take effect only if the difference of fee is paid within the stipulated time by permissible modes

Medium

All candidates can make a correction. However, the candidates, who have given Tripura either in their state of eligibility or of Qualifying Examination, will be able to change the medium of Question Paper as Bengali.

And will also be able to Choose Agartala as their Centre

The candidates may note that the rules which are medium specific like States of Eligibility and Choice of Centres, etc. will be applicable.

By changing the medium of Question Paper and the candidate will have to fill up information in the affected fields afresh very carefully.

Examination Centre

The candidates, who have given Tripura either in their state of eligibility or of Qualifying Examination, will be able to change their Centre of Examination to Agartala provided they have chosen Bengali as the medium of Question Paper in pursuance of this opportunity. All other candidates except those belonging to the state of Tripura.

NEET dates availability of from 1st half of January. And the last date to submit the form is last week of January. Receipt of confirmation page in CBSE is also done in the last week of January. Admit card release date first week of May. And NEET exam date is also in May and the result is declared in June. And counseling is done after result announcement.

NEET 2017 application form: EXAM PATTERN FOR NEET:-

Exam covers are topics from physics chemistry and biology. Each is with 45 questions:

Subject — marks

  • Physics-45
  • Chemistry-45
  • Botany- 45
  • Zoology- 45

 

Duration of test -3 hours

The pattern of marking is like this. Each question and also a pattern of making each question have 3 marks for one correct answer. And there is a deduction of 1 mark for each and every wrong answer.

NEET exam is conducted by CBSE and syllabus is prescribed by the medical council of India. The syllabus is based on 11 and 12 topics and units in all subjects.

Online application in the prescribed format for NEET UG(NEET 2017 application form) will be accessible from the website i.e. www. cbseneet.nic.in and submit your application without the missing the prescribed deadline and in the appropriate format.

Point to remember: Students while filling the form would be asked to provide their preference.

They can opt for both governments as well as state seats. CBSE would release two merit listsone for all India quota seats. And other for state seats and counseling is held according to this merit.

Students would understand these criteria before filling the form and during counseling. And help you to decide to choose the college.
